Cost of Benelli M4 Shotgun with Extended Magazine. The going price for the Benelli M4 Super 90 Tactical Home Defense Shotgun is $1,600.00. When I was shopping for my M4 during Thanksgiving of 2010 the price at my local Scheels Sporting Goods store in Appleton, WI. was $1,599.00. I had also priced the M4 at Buds Gun Shop online at $1,476.00, which was an outstanding price. Buds Gun shop usually has excellent hard to beat prices and they include shipping to your FFL. I checked GunBroker.com but didn’t find any deals on the M4. I finally got lucky because I found the M4 at Gander Mountain on sale for $1,499.00 and Scheels has price matching so I bought it from Scheels for $1,499.00. The icing on the cake turned out to be a $200.00 rebate from Benelli on a purchase of their M4 from an authorized dealer before December 31, 2010. I ended up getting my Benelli M4 for $1,299.00, just an outstanding price.
The addition of an extended magazine added another $75.00 so my bottom line price is $1,374.00 for the Benelli M4 with 7 + 1 capacity. The neat thing about the Benelli is the free carrier that allows a round to sit on top of the carrier just under the bolt. This is called floating a round and increases the capacity to 9 rounds.
