Smith and Wesson Model 617

I just purchased the Smith and Wesson model 617. It has the classic look of the Smith and Wesson 38 special crafted in polished stainless. My new Smith 617 is built on the same medium size K frame and at first glance looks just like my S&W 686P. The only difference you notice after picking up the S&W model 617 is the small .22 caliber hole in the barrel and the 10 round capacity cylinder. Otherwise it feels just like the big .357 caliber revolver.

It has the famous Smith and Wesson double action single action trigger, the same black rubber grips, the same exposed hammer, and the same adjustable rear sights, and the same 4 inch barrel length. The Smith and Wesson 617 is very accurate and suitable for competition shooting, plinking, and hunting small game.

The classic looking heavy duty high quality Smith & Wesson 617 is one of the finest .22 caliber revolvers you can buy. You can find the Smith and Wesson 617 for sale as low as $710.00. Buds Gun Shop had them listed for $677.00. I paid $820.00 for mine with a $30 mail in rebate offered for active and retired military.
